New England Comics does not collect
any personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Children
under 13 who want to join our e-mail list or request a catalog must have their parent
or legal guardian
contact us by e-mail
or mail with signed written consent.
Our privacy policy below explains how we use the information we collect from
all
users. In addition, parents have the opportunity to review their child's
personal information on file, ask to have it deleted and refuse to allow any further
collection or use of the child's information.
New England Comic's will verify
the integrity of any such requests.

Our promise to our customers:
New England Comics values privacy.
New England Comics does not sell, rent, or otherwise loan information identifying
its customers to any third party. Any information given to
New England Comics
by its customers is held in strictest confidence, and will not be used other than
in ways already consented to by the customer.
Customers of
New England Comics receive periodic e-mail updates and print
mailings about special offers, new products and services. If you do not wish to
receive e-mail updates, please send an e-mail to
list@newenglandcomics.com and type "unsubscribe" in the subject line.
If you do not wish to receive print mailings, please
contact New England Comics with your name and address, and
ask to not receive print mailings.
New England Comics has, on occasion, provided mailing services for publishers
and other agencies which NEC felt were of interest to its customers. When done,
no personal information is transferred to the 3rd party, except by customer response
to the 3rd party.
New England Comics does not collect information for its customers except
as specifically provided by the customer. Information such as name, postal address,
e-mail address, phone number, and birth date is retained by New England Comics for
its own use, such as identify the customer or to send the customer an e-mail update
or print mailing. Information such as credit card number and expiration date is
used for specific purposes, such as paying for a particular order, and is retained
only for accounting purposes, except as specially and specifically requested by
the customer to keep on file for repeat orders.
New England Comics does not share summary or tally information regarding
customers or their spending habits.
